Desde mi colaboración con el proyecto BereBere, he reflexionado sobre la programación de software como una herramienta para dibujar, en este sentido en la actualidad estoy realizando dibujos a partir de la interpretación de datos de diferentes tipos (redes inalámbricas en la ciudad, actividad de la bolsa de valores, etc) que si bien se mantienen alejados de intenciones infograficas, me permiten usar una materia cambiante extraída del cotidiano como base para dibujar.
Since I began my collaboration with the BereBere project, I have reflected on the software programming as a drawing tool, in this sense at the moment I am doing some drawings using an interpretation from several types of data (city wireless networks, stock market reports, etc) that eventhough it remains away from an infographic intention or approach, it allows me to use changeable matter taken from the everyday life routine as a basis for my drawings.
The images below are a little sample from my ongoing present work, these were done starting by using data collected from cities where the BereBere has been such as New York and Medellin in 2007.
